2:48am: I'd wait a week, but I want to say this
merry xmas y'all

I think 2004 has been one of my more productive years.

-I became happy with myself, I mean THOROUGHLY comfortable with myself. If I had the choice to live a different life up until now I would choose mine. I love who I am.

-I felt what its like to get good grades, 3.53 and 3.56 in the past year with the lowest a B-. And I learned that its really not that hard if you care.

-I became an RA, then wasn't. But it all worked out for the best and I'm stronger for those 6 tension filled days.

-I regained a best friend. And lost a few more.

-I finally learned how to treat my hair.

-I saw my parents for the first time as people and not Mom and Dad. I'd be glad to know them. They are my live guardian angels.

-I learned that the people you get sick of the most can end up being the people you miss the most.

-My brother brought his life together and has a girlfriend. She curses and thats fun.

-I had a job that threatened me in a civil lawsuit. Unlike most of life's problems, it was ignored and went away.

-I found that friends are better in quality than quantity. But a smile to stranger never killed anyone.

-I know I can be alone. I set out to be happy with myself. Then and only then could I have a relationship. In this process I have grown, I am allowing myself to have a relationship. But I am fine just being me, I am a whole within myself.

-I made someone get a tetnous shot.

-My uncle got remarried to a woman my dad dated in high school. My mom is MUCH prettier. and awesomer.

-I had the best surprise birthday ever.

-I stopped using Rogaine.

A year has gone by and I've seen all of my relatives. Some I haven't seen in 17 years. But blood is thicker than water. With alcohol in one hand and the other gesturing, the Gruebels don't have awkward silences. I am a Gruebel. I finally know who I am. I have my cousin David's build, I have cousin Melissa's love of math, I have cousin Caitlin's coolness, and cousin Tracy's good heart. I have my mother's punctuality and scheduling. I have my Dad's.....No, my father's friendliness.

Last night I had to shave my entire body. Apparently, the lice that I caught from Amanda's friend are really hard to get rid of. I look quite strange with no hair and eyebrows. I'd post pictures, but my webcam is broken.

I am updating this journal for the first time in ages, because I've been in prison.

I want to say thanks to simon and Abbey and Dave and the other Simon for helping me on Saturday. You guys are the best. By the way, if you happen to find my wallet, keys or underwear, could you SMS me? Adrian has my number.
